Has anyone has to use the site WEB Assign for a class?

<p>Physics 6A has decided to use a website called Web Assign to submit homework and stuff. Just the bit of information I needed to really make my day :(. The teacher said to register we are going to need to purchase an access code which costs $40. Wonderful, just wonderful. But when I was looking at the site, it let me make an account for free. Has anyone used this site before? Where does the 40 dollar access code come into play? Maybe to submit homework or something? I just want to know before I purchase anything.</p>

<p>you can create an account, as there’s a week or two of grace period. afterwards, you must pay the $40 to get an access code to continue using webassign (and thus allowing you to submit homework).</p>
