I am applying for pre-med program…Can anyone give me an overall review of concord university athens WV??
There’s no such thing as a premed program you’d apply to. There’s a set of courses you take (1 year each of calculus, biology, chemistry, organic chem, physics, English + 1 semester each of sociology, psychology, a diversity-focused class, biochemistry.)
You can major in anything at college before you apply to med school.
It’s a small public university. The average and upper 25% test scores make it unlikely many students make it to med school but if you’re a stand out student and seek out all opportunities to achieve, making all A’s, you may have a shot. Email admissions and ask about their premed advisory committee, pre-health sciences, whether they prepare for PA programs, kinesiology, etc.
