<p>Yeah, I sent in an extra rec from my employer, and Brown sent the person who wrote my recommendation that he had written an insightful and outstanding rec that tells a lot about me. It was from the dean. Could this be good sign for being accepted…?</p>
<p>There was a thread on this not too long ago. Don't know if it's an indicator of anything, though. And congrats on getting such a well-written recommendation!</p>
<p>My grandfather had written a letter of rec for me for Dartmouth when I applied ED since he is an alumnus. The Dean of Admissions wrote him back with a similar message, but I ended up being deferred sooooo....I don't know. Probably better than not receiving a letter, but it doesn't mean you're like.....one of their top candidates or something. Just good to hear that they like you lol. Just my opinion.</p>
