What area are you considering?
I think the first thing would be to investigate for the particular industry what is needed/acceptable?
You don’t want to be those people who go to the University of Phoenix and then find out no employers treat that degree seriously.
Are there financial constraints?
Some PT MBA programs are pretty worthwhile, even if you have to fly in for them.
And yes, it depends on goals.
This isn’t for me. There is some financial reimbursement thru job. Will need to ask how much and for what area.
@PurpleTitan Which ones are worthwhile online PT? Do you mean fly-in occasionally?
Duke has one where you meet in person occasionally. Chicago Booth, Northwestern Kellogg, and Berkeley Haas have weekend ones. Obviously, there are all sorts of local ones (Rice in Houston, NYU Stern in NYC, etc.)
IMO, if you’re doing an MBA, you should meet classmates in person at least occasionally. A big part about a good MBA program is the network, and you’re not going to connect with people and make new friends unless you actually meet them, go have drinks with them, etc.
