??????????

The only reason why there would be a mistake would be if you misbubbled or if you had terrible smudges from erasers. Besides those, Collegeboard doesn’t make mistakes in grading tests. (The tests are computer graded, besides the essay.)

OP, your score was not screwed up. Plain and simple. The only possible mistake was because you made a bubbling error.

How do u know for sure that score wasnt effed up??? College boared effed up like 4000 ppl’s scores before. So i think its very possible that they effed up on at least one test, possibly mine.

You stated you got a 2030 on a SAT practice test. Even if you’re 1840 some how transformed into a 2030 you would still be in the bottom quartile for Cornell and Columbia.

Give it a break already. You waited until the last minute to take the SAT. You either got a 1840 or possibly a little higher due a human bubbling error. Regardless stop prattling on about how College Board made a mistake when really you should shift the blame on yourself.

If you’re adamant about it, then go ahead and send your scores in for hand verification. Make sure you tell us how it went after you get your scores back though.

If you got scores such as 700 CR, 700 math, 450 writing, that would likely indicate that hand verification would be beneficial. If you simply scores lower than you expected on every section though, then it is most likely that you just did poorly.

EDIT: 4,411 people out of 1.5 million isn’t very good odds in the slightest.

Happened to my sister a few years ago. She averaged a mid 700 in math; however, her score one time was in the 500’s. She obviously called college board, and winds up they screwed up and missed an ENTIRE math section.

I would only suggest regrading if there is a significant gap.

The gap was 80 points in math and writing. I’m not concerned about cr bc even tho i got a 640 on my last prac test i average a 600 so i’ m not shocked about a 590.

U think its worth a regrade ?

80 points? Face it, you screwed up on test day.

It’s up to you. I personally think it’s a waste of money. But it may help you sleep at night judging by your posts.

It’s highly unlikely that you will receive any points, yet alone 80 points, back.

I’m not sure why you are seeking advice because it seems you are already convinced College Board screwed up, so do as you wish.
