Is that possble that sometimes the SAt scores are incorrect

hahaa. Maybe this is a real stupid question but iam just wondering whether the College board has every made mistakes on students SAt scores or not.

Iam just hoping that my SAt is just a mistake. SOmehow. Please.

But by the way, how do u check whether the College Board does make a mistake this time or not???? SHould i pay the money to get my test back to check????

I mean the SAt Subject tests :P

Do you think you'd get the score back in time? Isn't it like 5 weeks or soemthing?

3 or 4 weeks i think. I mean/ i just want to see why my score is that low. I was shocked. When i saw the result, i nearly wished that i were dead.

What did you take? I got a real shock when i saw my U.S. History score. I know 660 isn't horrible (except here, when people seriously ask if a 730 should be retaken) but I'm already a "slight reach" for Berkeley.

you need the score report. if you find an error, and it is possible, however unlikely, then I guess you file a report.
However, I don't think you can blame your low score on CB. the worst that CB can do is mess up 1 question, which is not going to account for your low score. Also, if a question ever gets thrown out, it is not because it is factually incorrect or blatantly wrong. Usually the wording of the question is contested as being to ambiguous
The semi-good thing is the subject tests aren't as important.

well i believe there is someone who has posted on the ccd that his bio m marks ent up from a 620 to a 700 when he got them handchecked. so you can give it a shot - i am thinking abt doing that for my 670 lit score?/ its just that its so expensive :(

I also am thinking about handscoring my sat ii.
where are you guys from?
I'm from San Jose, CA

Iam from Washington Dc. Man, Collegeboard sux. There IS a problem on my score. i swear

Dude, seriously. I've seen you post about 100 times about your "low" math level 2 score and how you wish you were dead and whatnot because of it.

Really, man, just retake the test. It's a much cheaper option than getting this test rescored, and it's certainly far less dramatic.

I just realized how a lot of us (including me) are really upset about scores around mid- high 600s. I just realized how ridiculous that all is. I mean, we should be proud... those are good scores! Ignore the people whining about 750s... I honestly think they either have no lives whatsoever or are just being jerks. Collegeconfidential is apparently like the top .0000000001% of high school students. Top-tier UC schools place high importance on SAT IIs and from what I've read their average... average scores are around 685, while most of us would consider a 680 scandalous.

hahahaha. Sorry dude. i was just shocked. I didnt try to be dramatized so sumthin. But i get over it. Yeah. I definitely will take it again. Coz even if my score is incorrect, it couldnt be 800 coz i didnt do REally well on it. but i expected it to be sumthing above 770.

but anyway, iam retaking it. I want to get 800 ( haha sound a little bit optimistic).

Sorry if i acted a little bit too drama.

Let's just wait until the score reports come out. I'm thinking that (correct me if I'm wrong) the score reports come out and say I omitted many, which is not what I did and means the machine didn't read some of the answer choices, then I'd go for the hand scoring. If they say I made mistakes, then it proves that I truly did bad. Am I right???
I'm just afraid I could have done some technical error (poor bubbling). But I don't blame the scoring machines, because I was told they hardly are wrong. Then I would just waste my 50 bucks.
If I didn't fill in the oval darkly and completely, then it would turn out to be my fault and I might end up with same or even lower scores, right?

Well if we wait for the score report to come out then it might be too late for colleges, because it takes 5 weeks to get hand scored results back.
