I was wondering if anyone has gotten rejected from JHU's Engineering for Professionals Program. Is it selective at all or a cash cow..? And for those of you who did get accepted, what was your GPA/credentials? Hopefully someone can answer all these before I decide to apply there or not.. thxx

I have never seen anyone rejected, but that is also not something that people applying to these program generally publicize. They supposedly require a 3.00 GPA for admission, but I suspect that is pretty soft.

The big question is: what are you looking to gain from the program, and what constraints are you under?

Cosmicfish, years ago when I was doing my undergrad, I messed up 2 years which brought my GPA to < 3.0…if the GPA asked is indeed a rigid 3.0, then I might very well look elsewhere…I’m hoping to gain more fundamental knowledge in my field and at the same time, the program has to be flexible so I can continue working…have you studied at jhu ep ? how challenging is the work? do classes demand a lot of time outside of the classroom? are professors attentive to their students?
