Johns Hopkins University Engineering for Professional - Systems Eng - Admission

Hi everyone,

I just applied to the JHU EP systems engineering part time online master program. I wonder what the admission rate is to get into the program? Is it hard to get into the program?

The admission requirements are:
1) Completed and submitted application form
2) Application fee of $75 (waived for graduates of the Whiting School of Engineering)
3) Official transcripts from all college studies
4) Applicants must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 (B or above) scale in the latter half of their studies or hold graduate degrees in relevant technical disciplines
5) Applicant should have a degree in a technical field and have a minimum of one year of appropriate full-time work experience in that field
6) A resume must be submitted

They do not require GRE and any letter of recommendation.

My background is bachelor of mechanical engineering from a tier 1 rank school with 3.25 GPA. Have one year of full time work experience with a big name medical technology company. I am very interested in the program after looking at the program structure on the website and catalog. I wonder if I have the chances to get into the program.

Thanks for your time.

I graduated from this program. You will not have any trouble getting in. I am not sure what the admission rate is, but my company sends tons of people there, and I doubt they would turn away anyone who seems to have a reasonable GPA and valid check.
