If you do not have BruinDirect, your refund check will be mailed. my account now has a negative number for the student accounts, so do i just click submit? how do i pay for housing? like, can i use the money left over (negative number) to pay for housing or do i just pay and get my refund later?

<p>we still need to pay for housing, but the housing website doesn’t even tell you how much it is. It just says to enter your own amount to pay for. I’m confused. Does anyone know?</p>

Click on your housing arrangement and then find your payment plan/meal arrangement on the next chart. It should tell you when and how much all payments you have to make will be.</p>

<p>^ yep. it means it’s a refund and it’'ll disperse into you bruindirect or sent via check.</p>

<p>so for housing payments, if we’re using financial aid to pay for it, does ucla directly transfer the aid towards my housing account or do we pay it off using the refund that we got? (btw haven’t gotten my refund yet either)</p>

I got about $5500 in DIRECT SUBSIDIZED LOAN<br>
Now UCLA is only refunding me $1,669.34
Does that mean they took all of my loan money and used it to pay off tuition!?
Or will they be giving me my loan money completely separate.
I thought my financial aid was going to cover most of it and now it appears that they took about $4500 of my loan money…</p>

<p>Does someone know if the loan money will be dispersed separately?</p>

<p>Assuming you’re a transfer student, it should be</p>

<p>$5500 Loan/3 Quarters= $1833 per quarter.</p>

<p>It sounds like you took out</p>

<p>$3500 Loan/3 Quarters= $1166 per quarter, or they made a mistake in disbursement.</p>
