<p>Got my packet today…and let me tell you this is the slackest acceptance “packet” I’ve gotten. You can’t even call it a packet. I expected more from a school that claims its the “best”.</p>

<p>Branching off to my disappointment, I’ve observed quite a few things about UF through applying and whatnot; and what I’ve observed doesn’t put them in the best light. The best students will go to UF because they’re the “top” school in Florida. I’ve heard so many bright students say they’re going to UF because the name looks good, the prestige, the university will make them successful, etc. First hand, I kid you not. I know, for a fact, no matter where I go I will be succesful so why do I need a university who hasn’t showed compassion or the slightest interest in the majority of its applicants? </p>
<p>Honestly, when did decisions come out? February 8th. It’s February 21st. How long does it take to send acceptance letters out? You’d think with the time it took for the university to send out their letters they’d be somewhat significant. It’s a piece of paper of information they said on their website. Nothing personal whatsoever. I mean, UM had their decisions out February 1st (Friday) and I got my packet on the 4th (Monday), and that packet was an actual packet. A packet filled with relevant and significant information that pertained to me. Perhaps, I’m a bit jaded and the UF Kool aid has worn off. So much hype for what?</p>
<p>I agree with you guys. Also, the fact that it was near impossible to find out my admissions decision that Friday is indicative of their lack of concern.</p>

<p>Yeah there’s really nothing to it except a pamphlet on what to do after you get accepted and letter of acceptance</p>
<p>Just received my stuff yesterday in the mail. It contained the same stuff as everyone else, just a notification of acceptance letter and a thin brochure about steps to take after acceptance.</p>
<p>I have not received mine…my only complaint is the dorm contract and money are due on the 26th…but they can’t bother to get a letter of acceptance to me possibly before that time</p>
