Has anyone seen their USConnect status change?

<p>Just logged in and my S has an invite to interview for the trustee scholarship. This would be an upgrade from NMFS which we already anticipate. We are REALLY excited. As of yesterday, we had not received a packet in Utah</p>

<p>Where on the USConnect did you find the invitation? </p>

<p>After logging in…it was either under admissions or events. Don’t remember for sure…we are in NYC right now and I was trying to access it through a hotel computer (because I can’t access from my phone)… and computer kept logging out and refusing to navigate site. Anyway …good luck to everyone still waiting.</p>

<p>I do think USC, like all schools, do take yield into factor. Yes, the most sought after will get notified everywhere…but beyond that, they must be thinking of possible matriculation. Last year thread indicated a lot of surprise acceptances and rejections. Talking to another parent this year, apparently acceptances this year are all over the place…the top kids from school “deferred” while somebody way down (and even with less EC) received notifications. It is what it is, the process is arbitrary to some extent. USC like many other schools does heavy marketing and students with the Stats may think they are shoo-in but they aren’t. The heartbreaking thing for some of these kids are when someone they know did not try as much as they did, got in early while they didn’t. Again…process is arbitrary unfortunately…</p>

<p>Yeah. I haven’t received my packet yet here in MD, but when I checked my USC portal, I saw that I was accepted AND a presidential scholarship finalist. I am beyond excited. I’m hoping my packet comes in the mail tomorrow because I want to wait until I get it before I tell my parents. So for everyone who may have had the status change and still haven’t gotten a packet yet, check your USConnect under admission status to see if you have any messages. Best of luck to everyone! </p>

<p>I’ve been checking my application status regularly and today I repeatedly got an error message saying:
We are unable to locate your record in this service database, please confirm your USCID is valid (it should contain 10 numeric digits) in the My Profile tab of USConnect. If this problem persists, please contact us ). Error code:ID2
I’m starting to think that this is their way of rejecting my application! D: </p>

<p>We got that message yesterday, but later were able to get in. There was no change. I think it was just a problem with the website.</p>
