I'm planning on taking it to fulfill my language requirement at erc, but next year I'll be taking ochem and upper-div bio classes, so I was wondering if anyone can tell me about the workload for the class? Thanks.

it’s a LOT of work and memorization. you basically have to teach yourself. and we had to learn at least a chapter a night (which includes about 15 different verbs and 30 vocab words)

@paradise17

A chapter a night!?

Wait, for the regular session (LTLA 1, 2, 3 over the school year) or the compressed summer session (LTLA 1-3 all during summer session)?

Please tell me you mean over summer session.

no over the normal school year.

the class is only 3 days a week (since you don’t have a conversation portion). so you have to make up the other 3 hours that you aren’t required to do there.

a chapter a night?? so what’s the reading like? is it like a story or is it actually like a textbook aimed to teach latin grammar and stuffs?

and also, what did you think about the class afterwards, did you think it was worth it?

Thanks paradise!
