Has anyone tried Zuma housing before?

I know they work with the University to provide short term housing, but they also seem to have year long lease options. Has anyone had experience with Zuma Housing before? I thought it was a little shady because I could not find any legitimate reviews on google/yelp.

Thanks in advance.

ZUMA is one of the worst landlords I have ever dealt with. There is no central air conditioning in this unit I ended up renting in 110 degree heat last week, it was unlivable. People from zuma housing come and access the apartment whenever they want with a key to show a ‘prospective tenant’ the place, which is illegal and I will be writing to housing authority, BBB, the city court and state about that. Additionally, they are telling me they are going to charge a $25 fee for giving me my deposit back early - which is not even the case as I gave a 30 day notice and want my deposit on the day I move out and the person that rented this unit to me confirmed that was not going to be a problem.
