has anyone trying to contact Geralyn Yparraguirre heard back??

i was just wondering if anyone else has tried to contact her and heard back yet...i emailed her as soon as i got accepted and saw my conditions of admission and of course i called her continuously on friday and have been doing so today as well to no avail...i expect it to take some time, but i don't see how a lot of other people could have emailed her before me lol

Just so you know I left a message with my admissions officer on friday, emailed her on saturday, and received an email back today. So it is possible to get a response today.

Edit: with another admissions officer by the way

I also just received a response today.

Not from Geralyn*

okay, we’ll see, a lot of people have been telling me they’ve heard back…just no one from my admissions officer lol

Hey lomhk!

I have the same problem with the same admissions officer. I was starting to think she was ignoring me or something, haha. I wished she responded earlier so I didn’t have to drop with a W… dam.

yea, same here, deadline to drop with no record just passed :</p>

I sent an email this morning. I haven’t heard back from her either.

who is this this girl and why are u people trying to contact her?

She’s an admissions officer, probably a very lazy or busy one cuz she isn’t responding!!!111

o dammit! i just checked and i have the same girl…

lol, i guess all the haas transfers got the admissions officer that doesn’t reply…or work on mondays, and was too busy to answer emails on friday…

She responded to me this morning saying it was ok for me to drop my Math 1C Calculus class. ■■■, I should’ve just dropped it on Friday. Now, I’m not sure I want the W because grad schools still look at CC transcripts…

same, she responded and changed my conditions of admission this morning…a half hour earlier and i could have gone back to sleep instead of class…

well, look on the bright side… at least your admission is no longer in jeopardy!

lol, that’s what i thought, i just looked and she changed 6 out of 7 classes…1 of them is still there haha, just sent her an email about it…think it’s cuz i only mentioned it in one small sentence in my entire long letter in my last email lol

at least you guys dont have angie williams. she answers my emails with one sentence, answering nothing i have asked her… :/

@ knightofwolf

hi. just curious… did you say geralyn gave you the blessing to withdraw/drop the calc 1? so what course would satisfy your math pre-req?

@amypoth no, math 1c for him is third quarter calculus, or half of math 53 at berkeley…but i never took calc 1 >_> it’s the last thing i have to sort out with her lol, i took calc 2 and when i talked to haas in february they said since i have calc 2 it’ll automatically clear calc 1 since it’s earlier in the math series…

@knightofwolf yeah, i just dropped math 1d and i’m going to drop bio6b and chem1c soon…i’m a bit worried about the W’s but i figure i can explain it to grad admissions since i can say i realized i would get no credit for math 1d at cal w/o math 1c also and so i’ve decided to just take a semester course over summer that will articulate to math 53 at cal, and i can explain bio and chem by simply saying i changed my major from bio to business…which is what i did, and i’ll still have a full schedule so i hope admissions won’t care lol
