Has anyone heard back?? I know a guy from my high school got an email saying he was accepted. is this how we find out? or is he a different case? because i didn't get an email and i dont know anyone else that did.

You hear back in about a week. March 15-March 30 is the official window for letters to go out.

He would be a different case. Ask to see his email.

You should be receiving snail mail letters unless you are an international student. In that case, some people have gotten emails since mail takes a while, then get their packets later.

The only person I know this year that got accepted is someone who qualified for the stamps scholarship at UW, otherwise everyone gets it in a couple weeks.

Will they send us out an email when a decision is made? Or do we have to check a certain website?

You will be snail mailed decisions March 15 - 30.

International students will get an email. Those within the U.S. will not.
There will be no official announcement on a certain website

The only people I know who have heard from UW are ones who received a big ROTC scholarship and I don’t think it was by email. I love people who lie about acceptances. There is a very small chance your friend is telling the truth IMO.

I found out from an email. It was an email to talk to me about something related to study. I didn’t know whether or not I was in yet, they had assumed I already knew.

It wasn’t like a “hey, you got in” sort of email, more like a “person who has known he was in for a long while, are you going to partake in this particular thing?”
