(as per title)

my transcript hasnt been received:(

shifu,
The only thing missing from the application checklist on the Cornell site is my school stuff that was sent through snail mail. I called in yesterday and they said it usually takes a few weeks to get everything processed because the online and snail mail stuff are at different places and have to be physically brought together.

Mine hasn't been received yet either, and my GC sent it via snail mail on October 16th...

same here, school report and final school report are both Xs. GC sent in on oct 15-17th. I called today and they didn't even bother pick up, just said something like: "due to the large amount of information we're receiving, it will usually take 1-2 weeks between the time the materials are received and updated on the application status." Although it makes sense...it still makes me nervous because lots of other people's stuff have been received.

I'm really nervous too... I just want those two things to be received so that they can review me. Rejected, accepted, or deferred I won't even be CONSIDERED if everything isn't received!!

I took the SAT's in October and Cornell doesnt have my scores in, is that the same for anyone else?

Not yet..I check like 3 times a day, too.

wait has cornell received ur october SAT scores? anyone?

sorry! didn't see your post until just now...mine was that Cornell hasn't gotten my high school transcript + letters of recommendation.

Yes, Cornell has received and processed my Oct. SAT scores. They're already listed there on my applicantID.

so than i have a problem i need to deal with

graciek14: there isn't a spot on the applicantID page for your teacher recs, how do you know whether Cornell has received them or not?
and yeah, they haven't received my transcript/school report yet either

My school sends them out in one big envelope with my transcript and high school profile, as well as the sheet we sign off on to say that everything in there is true and that we haven't read the recs. If they haven't processed my school files, they haven't processed the envelope, which means they haven't processed the recs. I guess that's just the way my school does it, though...

Mine transcript or school report hasn't been received either. October SAT scores have been received though.

Mine hasn't but I don't care. It'll get there eventually.

When I registered for the October SAT, I added Cornell as a recipient, so when the score came out, Cornell received it instantly. No need to rush score.

Mine just got processed today... I sent it from Texas to New York on like the 23rd. Log in with your Cornell ID and click on application status to see if it's actually been received; the common app is kind of slow.

i did that too, plus when i go to collegeboard it says it sent the scores to Cornell already

sign this is really making me nervous...it's been like 3 weeks since my GC sent it.

mine was processed today =]
lucky.. because I actually sent it to the wrong address within the cornell university
But the financial application still shows nothing..
