grrrrr.. i'm in session A and this whole just-over-one-month-long class thing is HARD. cramming 3 exams and write a term paper in 6 weeks.........

i wanna be in the sunshine!!!!!!!!
anyone else suffering with me? can i get some CC support?? :|

Yes, it is ****ing cloudy all day long here in SoCal. It is cloudy and it isn’t even raining… (rain is a good thing right now, southern California is suffering a drought)

888888, yay, i’m so glad someone else out there feels as though they are suffering, too. yeah, i’m only taking sesh A, nothing else… so i guess that’s good.

sunshine has been here for about half of this week. sorry to see you guys back in socal aren’t getting a proper start to summer!

I’m taking D and E. I can’t wait!! Yeah right… Are the three week classes a nightmare? I’m only signed up for a 1 unit course, but three weeks seems SO short, even for one unit.

Actually it’s not so bad (well, not yet at least). I’m only taking one on-campus class at a time (4 units each) over a period of 12 weeks.
And my online classes allow me to turn assignments/papers/quizzes in early. I might just devote one or two weekends to completing everything for the online classes and not have to worry about them anymore.

The hardest part is that I have a very short reprieve from academia-- except for the week or so between the end of session D and the beginning of the fall semester.

@Vicissitudes- Are you referring to the three week courses when you say “you’ll learn”? :(

I’m going to be taking two classes for Haas in session D (one 2 unit and one 3 unit) and then a 1 unit American Studies class in session E, so the last few weeks will be overlapping.

Has anyone taken UGBA 100 and 107 for Haas in Summer?? If so, what were your thoughts on it? Workload, difficulty, etc.

No I’m just saying taking two classes at the same time will pretty much burn you out. Although if you take two classes in different sessions…there goes your whole summer.

People who have nothing better to do with their summers. I think taking one summer class (usually session C) is the way to go. You get a prereq out of the way, it’s still a light load so you get to relax, and you get about a month’s break.
