Today absolutely sucked lol

I brought my laptop to class. Almost got knocked over twice. Darn rush...

Also, took me forever to get to Pimentel for chem1a....and i was like 5 minutes late. everybody and their mothers were sitting in the seats, so i had to sit on the fcking floor. Also why the heck is it on very top of the hill -.- (i'm coming from wayyyyy down)

i also hate my 3rd class of the day. i shouldn't have picked it....but now i can't afford to drop in case I don't get anything else

sigh

lol. gg

gg indeed 10char

lmao hahaaha i know what u mean. But i can help u! : ]

I have a class in pimental too but I took the F bus or u can take 52 from north gate. Like walk all the way to the other end of campus, opposite of dwinelle. And then it’ll take u to stern and foothill so you can walk down from there.

and sorry u don’t like ur third class : / maybe it’ll get better. I had the worst class over the summer and it was like 3 hours long. so hopefully it’s not that bad.

lol its not that far for me to take the bus. its like a little below valley lsb. but still, the hill there makes me tired haha

i know what you mean. i had a pretty ****ty first days of school my freshman year too. i actually completely missed my first english r1b class because i thought it was on another day ><

forreal. too many people here at berkeley lol.

ugh, i’m also getting way too many emails for my own good. so hard to keep track of things.

yeahhh. so, i wanted to return a book, but forgot the receit, so I had to walk to the cal student store there and back twice. (plus, i’m in foothill). had i known it was on a hill earlier, had I seen a topographic map, I would have thought twice of the elevation. Then, i went to get my course readers at copy central on bancroft, they sent me to the one at northside, and northside (on hearst) said they didn’t have any and will order some on sunday. so i was like ughhh all this walking! I also got run over by a bicycle. (NO JOKE) like actually run over and I fell down, got bruises and scratches.
and i also couldn’t find a lecture halll and was late and had to sit on the steps.
there is probably also more…but other than that, i’m excited for college, but i feel so UNDERPREPARED!!!

I’m already behind as I forgotten one of my assignments was due last night. ■■■

Not a great way to start off the school year, but I can’t complain reallly. Compared to all you guys having to walk so far distances, maybe one missing assignment isn’t really that bad.

Be more optimistic, kid. Everything always turns out good in the end, and if it doesn’t, then it’s not the end yet.

You could always walk to Pimental through Hildebrand and avoid the hill :D.

Welcome to Cal! These first few weeks are your baptisms by fire.

You’ll get used to it. If you’re a freshman in the dorms, the worst is if you’d have to make it up from Unit 3.

Bleh, I’m a junior and I really live at the bottom of everything (on Shattuck Ave, same elevation as the BART station). Each day, I have to head up Hearst Ave to the top of the hill for my classes in Soda and Cory, both of which are much higher in elevation than Pimentel. To top it off, it’s a 15min walk. You just have to be quick.

If you really insist on busing to Pimentel, though, the F and 52 are kinda far away from everything. I recommend taking the Bear Transit Perimeter bus because that actually drops you off right across from Pimentel, in front of Evans.

lol i know.

is there a faster way though, to get from Valley LSB to Pimentel? Besides the buses, where I have no idea what time they come or where they come…

no VLSB to Pimentel really isn’t that bad… walk around the main library and then straight up from there
