Have any CANADIAN applicants been accepted yet?

<p>I know there are a few threads for McGill acceptance, but most of you kiddies are from the states. As a result, I'm 90% sure you guys get responses first.</p>

<p>I'm from Toronto and I applied back in Novemeber. My status is now "Ready for review" and I'm just curious how much longer the wait will be. I'm done my 6 4U courses already, so they're not waiting on any marks thats for sure.</p>

<p>Anyone or anyone you guys know from Canada been accepted yet? When, and to what? Any idea what their marks were like?</p>

<p>i dont think you guys will get accepted until at least april... a friend in calgary says that he'll probably have to wait until after his diplomas to give him his decision (june) and then said "i hate you" because we get accepted way before they do, and on a rolling basis too :D. scores, according to mcgill's website, 91% average in ontario.</p>

<p>McGill is sending out offers to students in the IB program in Ontario. I know several people with offers for music and science..</p>

<p>You'll hear from them after midterms probably :) </p>

91 average, American, but living in New Brunswick so a Canadian applicant.</p>

<p>Thanks for the replies. I've been checking back but there was a problem with my account, so I couldn't reply. Keep the updates coming, and please post where you're applying from!</p>

<p>I've got nothing yet personally, though I figured I'd be close to the end since my average wasn't super high. It's too bad McGill doesn't look at any Extra Curric's :(</p>

<p>Anyways - I e-mailed them a while ago and they said offers are going out between now and the 21st of May, so those of you that dont know will know in the next 19 days. Good luck!</p>

<p>i got accepted in early feb. im considered canadian on paper, but i go to an international school in a foreign country and do the ib . so i duno hmmm</p>

<p>i got into arts+science as well as just faculty of science
last tuesday (April 27)
i am also from ontario and i believe the second semester midterm marks (in semestered school)
haven't been sent to mcgill from ouac yet</p>

<p>i was admitted pending final results, which kinda confused me whether it was conditional or not, but found out that they wanted the second semester midterm marks sent in</p>

<p>i believe the regular acceptances into mcgill from ontario are from early may to mid-may</p>

<p>my first sem average was hanging around 95~96%</p>

<p>Well, got my result for Mechanical Engineering...</p>

<p>REFUSED! "Academics not met" or something, they said my marks weren't good enough basically.</p>

<p>I'm kind of surprised... I have/had an 83.5 average from ontario, which is well within or above the average entrances for most of the engineering programs from previous years - let alone Mech Eng. Not to mention, I've got EC's that include winning several national and international competitions. Too bad they only care about marks!</p>

<p>In fact, I'm kind of insulted! UofT gave me an offer almost as soon as they had my transscript. Oh well.</p>
