What are my chances of getting into top 3 canadian schools?

race: white
sex: male
province: alberta baby

im in grade 11 and have a 94% average, so in grade 12 it will be somewhere around 90-96

I want to do biochemistry at (respectively): Mcgill,UBC,U of T.

I chose not to do IB even though my school offers it...

I speak english, french, polish.

EC's: lead guitarist in a rock band, proffessional paintball team, participated in 'run for the cure', compete in marathons/iron man competitions, started my own small business.

thanks guys... pretty down because of the whole not taking IB thing, but I have decent marks other than that...

bump, anyone? i have to go to bed soon...

i don't know about students for out of province, but u of t bio chem i've seen ppl get in with 80's in toronto.

I can't imagine you'd have a problem getting into any of those three, good picks by the way! As long as you retain that sort of average you should be set.
IB may have been a good decision, however. I am doing it and I personally think that it has helped my standing in certain schools.

McGill: In
University of Toronto: In
UBC: In

thanks guys, i think their entrance average for out-of-province is like 85-90% but I was worried that was IB or AP.

Yeah IB probably would have been a good choice but I was stupid and decided not to.

Any of you guys going to those shools? I think the cultural diversity of montreal would make it an AMAZING city to live in, smae with vancouver-the ocean/trees etc... It's going to be pretty sweet because alberta is flat as balls and theres nothing near calgary lol..
