I was having a party with my freinds and I walked in to a door and it wasent bleeding but it hurt like he’ll still does do you think it’s broken?
Go to a doctor-- there’s no way anyone can do an internet diagnosis.
Diagnosis through the computer?? Go to the doctor!
Please work on your grammar spelling. You made several errors. Both spelling and grammar must be correct on essays.
Grammar and spelling are off (“Have I broken my nose”), but… what essay?
As long as everything is pretty much in the right place (you can still breathe clearly in both nostrils and they are symetrical) you don’t really need to go to the doctor. Both of my boys have had broken noses (me too). With the first they didn’t even x-ray, just said when the swelling goes down if it is crooked then come back in. It wasn’t, so we didn’t.
The second boy we didn’t go in until a couple days later when the swelling went down. It was definitely slightly crooked (not awful, but definitely not straight). The ENT checked out the internal passages and thought it looked good. His opinion was that if he tried to straighten it he could make it better or could make it worse. He said if it was his kid, he would let it go. So we did. It’s still slightly crooked, although unless you are looking for it you don’t really notice it.
Mine happened 30 years ago. My septum is still messed up. I should have gone into the doctor right away, but it happened when I was in high school sports and I was tough and didn’t need to go to the doctor. It isn’t bad enough that I am willing to get it rebroken now to fix it, but I wish I had handled it correctly the first time.
Also, if you take medical advice from me, or anyone else on the internet for that matter, you probably deserve whatever outcome you get.
Also in my experience, LOTS of blood. The older boy broke his on the playground at school, and by the time he got to a teacher he looked like he was in a horror movie. The younger boy and I both got ours plugged up right away but they happened while participating in athletics where there was a first aid kit handy to deal with it. If I hadn’t gotten those nostrils filled with cotton there would have been blood everywhere.
It’s been 3 days. A bit late to tweak it back into place That sid, both my s’s broke their noses. One needed surgery, one didnt. The one that needed surgery still has it a bit … off center, for lack of a better word.
It’s actually about the right time to put it back. The son I took to the ENT last year looked at it 2 days after the break, and said it was a waste of time to look earlier unless there was a breathing problem. He said the window to fix it without having to rebreak was about 5 days if I remember correctly.
So… was it broken?
