anyone get nosebleed often?

Is it just me? Or are there people who get spontaneous nosebleeds too? I get them like 15 times a year, what about you?

I've never gotten a nosebleed, not even after I broke my nose.

Ha-ha-ha. =)

I've never gotten a nosebleed, but I do know people who get them spontaneously quite a bit. One friend in particular. It's definitely not just you.

I get a ton, especially when I'm nervous or really happy. It sucks!

YES! Especially during spring! My nose just starts bleeding for no reason. It really stinks.

you probably have about three weeks to live.

Try taking vitamin K.

i get like one a month, especially during football season

one even lasted 45 minutes- got reallllly dizzy

personal tips: tampons, tampons, tampons; you look like an idiot but they work great

During certain parts of the year, I used to get nosebleeds a lot. A lot as in 2-3 a day, maybe for a week at a time. That usually happened every few months, when my allergies flared up. If it's really a problem, see your doctor and he/she will treat your nose with silver nitrate. It closes off the blood vessels so they don't bleed as easily. It's really made a huge difference.

I used to get nosebleeds all the time at school. Everyone kind of thinks you're a freak, but you can run out of class without telling anyone and stay out for as long as you want. Sometimes the nosebleeds were rather handy. :P

if your a dude and want any sense of dignity, do not stick a tampon up your nose.

^ she's the man. love it.

Although unlikely at your age, frequent nosebleeds can also be a symptom of high blood pressure. Have it checked, just to be safe.

A lot of time, nosebleeds are just caused by dry air. You can use a saline spray to help.

i get it a few times during those REALLY hot, dry days...
it sux

about five years ago I would get really bad nosebleeds at night every couple weeks. I hadn't had problems before that though, or since. they randomly started and stopped.

I went through periods where I got them daily for weeks.

i've gotten one each day for the past 3 days...i keep sneezing really hard and it won't heal

I used to get way more than fifteen nosebleeds a year. A good month was one when I didn't get any nosebleeds, but I could get as many as three in a day. I learned to differentiate between different types of nosebleeds and could estimate about how long each one would last.

I think it had something to do with the climate. When the air was really dry in winter, my nose usually bled more. Both my parents also used to get frequent nosebleeds when they were kids, so I suspect this may also be genetic.

I stopped getting them so often once I got into middle school, and the stopped completely after sophomore year of high school. So maybe you problem will get better without your having to do anything about it.

I get them a lot, too.
For no reason also.
Like in lunch, I was sitting there reading my notes and blood started spewing out.

nasal allergies.

aagh. they cause my nosebleeds... it stinks. especially when i got one during my freaking math final and it wouldn't stop. aaaagh.

my dad suggested i use vaseline but i flat out refused. its gross to stick it up your nose!!
