Have to go see a professor, being a pussy about it (srs)

<p>I have to go see this macroeconomics professor to talk about my future. I told the assistant that I want to do my master degree abroad (either US or UK) and he said that he'd tell the professor I was gonna contact him... I haven't done it yet.... Thing is I've looked into different schools already, LSE for example, assistant mentioned it and told me to get my gpa up, to try to get a gpa of 5 (in switzerland it's out of 6, so 5/6) so I calculated it and it's only 4.2 or so, way below, will never make it to 5 in a year. I'm kinda sad now, my dream is falling to bits, he did tell me though that the papers I hand in, if they are good, which the 1st one I did was, can also count towards a master degree in certain schools but shyt I wanted to go to a very good one... ***k</p>

<p>also this professor is a high flying teacher, I'm kinda scared of him.
Any of you guys have opinions?</p>

<p>Just forget it then. Chances are that assistant never told him anyway, or the professor completely forgot about you. If you go w/ your current stats and outlook, he’ll probably just shoot you down more.</p>

<p>Are you sure you recalculated your scores correctly? That equates to a 2.8 on a 4.0 scale?</p>
