Have to take out Stafford Loans?

<p>I got an email from USC's financial aid office yesterday telling me to fill out a form for the Stafford Loans. I was planning on actually taking loans from outside agencies instead of Federal Loans. Do you know if you have to fill that out even if you don't want the loan? I had a friend suggest I just ignore it, but I don't feel that is the correct option. </p>

<p>Your friend is correct. Just do nothing and you won’t get the loans. (This is what we were told at orientation last year and what we ended up doing)</p>
