Have you changed since high school?

I was always pretty social, but my situation in college (college for women) made me realize that I need to take the initiative and go after my own social life, because it won’t always come to me. In high school I always had people calling me and asking me to hang out, but in college I learned to take risks and not be afraid of meeting new people.

I feel stronger as a person. I am living on my own this summer, and recently my boyfriend broke up with me. I don’t have many friends in the area, and my family is across the continent. In high school I would have moped about this, and while it does affect me I don’t dwell on it. Things happen, and there are more important things to focus on. I put my energy into my work and think about the positive aspects of my situation. It’s all part of the growing process.

It’ll be interesting to see where I stand in three more years.

Yes I am slimmer, better looking, dress better, more social, have more friends, good grades instead of bad, have more of an idea of what I want to do with my life, and having a good time unlike I did in high school.

More outgoing, more apathy, slightly more depressed and disturbed, more intelligent, more sarcastic, more annoying, less religious
