Wow.. that's legal? What if she didn't want to?

I once thought I was in love, but I later realized it was lust. Teenagers confuse it pretty handilly.

Love is increased levels of dopamine in your brain in response to an external stimulus. It fizzles out after a few years. Read that National Geographic article :P

chocolateluvr88's story is my story.

k-theory: you are the epitome of what i meant when i said teenagers are so very blase and jaded and cynical. have a little faith, hahaha!

I agree with Jonathan K. Couples in my school claim they love each other after they've been together for like one month. Although I've never been in love, I assumed that it would take time to develop a relationship and love for one another. ::shrugs:: However, there's always the theory of love at first sight. =p

I'm full of wild, unbridled animal lust at times, but I don't think I have ever felt love toward my female partners.

^^ lol.......idk i had a major crush on this girl.....probably fell in love...but idk....i cant wait to meet my true love

Love is sex.

^ You're acting a bit odd today for some reason... haha.

i think he got laid.....he probably wants more .....

Whatever. I just saw the Disney thread, and he got a bit violent in the Juice thread as well.

^^ i know what you mean.....its funny though...

Wait, whats the juice thread?

I think a lot of people in high school fall in love with sex and/or the idea that they can SAY that they are "in love", even if it is just to make other people jealous.

On the topic of high school relationships, people at my school tend to have very long relationships...We're talking most relationships last AT LEAST 6 months if not more. Some have even been together for like 3 or 4 years. There are several couples at my school who are actually getting married after graduation. The geographical location may have something to do with that...small town suburban oklahoma. Eek. But I do believe that love exists in high school.

kman...with respect to previous post of urs...
a survey by India Today revealed that arranged marraiges last longer than love marriages...also another survey reveals that the hormones that cause attratction to the opposite sex subside after 2 yrs...most often what keeps the marriage togather after 2 yrs is either dependance or emotional comfort

Don't get married. Ever.

It's not exactly your choice.

There's a difficulty in being single and trying to find the right girl in high school. A friend of mine once said, "There's no sense in even trying to have a relationship like that unless you know yourself. You can't be 'us' unless you're comfortable with the 'me'.

I've had this problem before. Trying to be "us" and not being "me". It's difficult though, with my ideas about relationships. In the past I've felt that there's no real point in having a relationship unless you're going to be serious about it. Otherwise it's just garbage. But from what this guy was saying, it sounds like you can't really enter into a relationship like that unless you know yourself, which takes years. So, does this mean I'm supposed to wait until I know myself - which could be another ****ing decade - of just have a relationship and understand that it probably won't work because of my lack of personal maturity?

I'm not really sure. I'm not ready for these kinds of questions, and honestly, they seem like a bother. It's not like being qualified for a job or having a good GPA for college. It's about how well you fit in every aspect, and yes, even personal maturity. I'm never going to be rock solid in who I am - if I was, I'd rule out the potential for change. But I should probably get my ***** together a little more before I try to have something with someone. I have family issues. I have self issues. I have trust issues. These things must be dealt with. I wanna be ready when it does come along.

Once CC was down for maintenance and I thought CC had broken up with me. I was sad. But now CC is back up and everything is right with my life.
