" They constantly whip out their phones flashily (just got them at that age and all lol) and desperately glance around for someone to gasp over their stunning coolness.

And they’re soooo cliquey. They’re also Twilight parasites who seem to deny the existence of any other book, including the author’s other works lol. It also seems like no clothes other than Hollister and Abercrombie exist… I suspect these foolish kids, being this much less intelligent, have not the sense to waltz in during sales either. And the girls shriek all the time omg. It annoys the heck out of me. "

Once again, the same with our freshman. It’s only us that decide to make out in the middle of the halls crowding it up.

I’m tired of the freshmen in my class who think it’s too cool to do any homework/projects/tests. I will never understand how a freshman fails Spanish in middle school, then has to take Spanish I in high school… AND FAIL THAT.

Haha weird, the baddest are the seniors in my school. They get all these privileges and abuse them on us underclassmen. It’s seriously the most annoying thing ever. I’d say us sophs and juniors are the normal ones :)

Same. Public ceremonies too so the others know what’s up.

Juniors aren’t bad or big till their seniors. They’ll also never be as cool as c/o 2010. 2012 might.

Believe is the wrong word. Juniors in the Class of 2011 know that they are big and bad.

The only good thing about freshmen is that someday they will no longer be freshmen.

Yes, juniors are the cream of the crop. Its nice to know some freshmen acknowledge that a lot of their classmates are unbearable :P.

The freshman are bearable. It’s the middle school girls that seriously **** me off. There’s this one family friend, and ugh -_-. And many other from our middle school

Juniors ftw :p

^ False statement.

Reflecting back as a senior:

Freshmen: Annoying and immature group for the most part. Probably likely to brag about how they got (some high gpa here) in only non-AP classes.
Sophmore: Sort of transition period. A lot em still immature, but at least some sophmores can actually be responsible.
Juniors: alright group, probably the most respectable, as they’re like the 1-year younger version of seniors minus the bad qualities. Few idiots left though.
Seniors: Supposed to be role models, but senioritis happens to set in at the beginning of the year so that never works out. Thought of not having to go to some form of k-12 schooling scares and/or excites them.

I don’t like a lot of the Freshmen and Sophmores at my school. I act pretty much like a misanthropist during school hours so that contrasts the immature views many of them still have.

To be fair, my school is fairly new and the older classes still have some of the new-school zone exemption syndrome (AKA good students switch in from other zones). The newer classes are just awful.

not allll freshmen are like this…just saying.

You seem to generalize according to grade level.

youwish is a freshman.
I agree with rhythmgaming. That is not generalization but OBSERVATION.

Yes, but do realize I’m talking about my highschool, where it does hold true.

^ I agree with you…

“Freshmen: Annoying and immature group for the most part. Probably likely to brag about how they got (some high gpa here) in only non-AP classes.”

what’s more irritating is when they constantly complain about the ONE ap class they are taking and how they only get 8 hours of sleep gasp
they are in for such a bad wake up call

Ohh. sorry. I understand what you mean. This is what it is like at my school.

Freshmen: 98% are immature. remaining 2% are mature

Sophmores: 50% worry about social lives 50% responsible/worry about school

Juniors: they think they are teh chiz. do not try. think people will do their work for them.

Seniors: they slack, but for the most part are responsible

I don’t pay attention to freshmen. I just notice that they tend to literally stand in clusters in the hallway during passing period as opposed to just walking, and that ****es me off.

Oh, but there are those freshmen who think that they’re really cool and try to talk to or get with upperclassmen. THOSE are the ones I can’t stand, especially when they suck up to me just because I’m a senior and I’m friends with people they might want to know. Get a life and find friends your own age. =/

For my school it’s like this (I’m counting the middle school since they visit our school often)

8th graders: Oh my gosh, shrieking. Drama. They have quite a big clique too. The popular kids that think everyone is jealous of them. The responsible ones that actually want to learn. And the bad*ss ones that want to always get a teacher fired for some reason…I’ll never understand this. They carry way too many books. Always have they’re backpacks hanging too low too. Glad I’ll be out when class of 2014 arrives. :P

Freshman: They’re the few they like to start drama either right before break/the quarter/semester. Every time it comes close to a break the freshman can be seen arguing and fighting over the dumbest stuff. The good ones you don’t notice because they’re quiet. A lot of the freshman girls class of 2013 wear too much eyeliner. Flippin’ raccoons. With huge backpacks AND a purse. Just bring one or the other!!

Sophomores: They keep to themselves. I really just think the sophomores at my school are not looking forward to the next years of finishing high school. And it always seems it’s the obnoxious sophomores that were once freshman that pick on the freshman. It’s like they’re trying to get back at what was done to them. They never have any spirit at prep assemblies. They kinda get the backpack thing in check…

Juniors: Our Juniors are always the most spirited. I get along with most of them. They’re excited to finally be upperclassmen and start to look into colleges. There are the few that want to date the incoming freshmen… We seniors keep it tight with the juniors. They do plan our prom. :)

Seniors: Class of 2010. 'nuff said. :)
