man skipping class is so normal, ppl do it average 10 hours of class a week... i used to go out of skool and buy lunch during any random class and eat it w/ friends but i bring my lunch now so i dont skip as much

peace out guys.......cya tomorrow

. g'night .

yep...hell...just did it today lol...went to a Jamaican restaurant with some friends then I went home...last week we went to IHOP then to the mall...but we only skip when we know we're not going to miss anything important...I'm trying to make the best out of my senior year lol...and I don't get counted absent as long as I attend atleast 2 classes a day...and I know people in the attendance office that can give me excused absences...

Skipping class without getting caught recently got a lot more difficult at my school. They upgraded our attendance procedures a month ago. Teachers have to log on to this program and send the attendance in electronically every period. Then the Dean of Student's lackey prints out the sheets during lunch or whatever and gets printouts of who missed what class when, who was excused or not, etc. It's a lot more efficient than our old method, which involved little notepads where you write the period and the names of people absent, to give to the Dean's secretary to sort through. Half of my teachers never sent in the slip, but now attendance is well-tracked.

I never had perfect attendence (good luck getting afternoon doctor's appts at an air force base) so I've stayed home a couple of times when I knew that nothing would be happening that day. I'd spend the day catching up on homework, though, so it never felt like skipping.

I skip days of school, because its a lot riskier to skip just one class. I leave some classes and walk around the school for about 20 minutes. Half the time I leave school about an hour early because I have a study. MY other classes are fun because of the people in them, and if I skip, I normally get bored half way through the day.

I skip days every once in a while.

And most of my teachers are really lax. I used to skip APUSH all the time last year.

I skipped gym to write essays and work on projects. And also partially because we had folk dance presentations that day and I didn't want to waste my time, haha. Yaaaay gym.

omgz like skipping class is like totally awsuhm!

I skip once a week. It's a bad habit..but it doesn't really affect my grade too much.

The thing is..I don't go to school because I want to sleep. I don't do anything when I stay home :P

Cutting class though..that's different. It's hard to cut class in my school. We have a lot of security guards/administrators for such a small school. I cut Dance a few times, and talked to my old global teacher, but it's hard to leave the school.

Unless you have early release..booyah. I get early release as a junior :P

I have some extremely pointless classes, and I feel absolutely no qualms about skipping them when I know I won't miss anything important. I also have some teachers who (based on my "official" attendance stats) do NOT take attendance. For instance, I've skipped my chem class several times this semester, but my report card says I have 1 absence. heh. I'll take it:)

of course i skip in fact i got "the letter" from school which u get if u miss more than 15 times for one class. Now i can't skip though. :(

Soetimes if I'm really relaly relaly tired or I haven't done myhomework I won't go to school. But I've never actually like walked out. They're pretty strict about that here.

i cut 5th and 6th with some friends to go see a movie yesterday :)

I skip a class if I need to study/dont' understand material for a test, but never a whole day of school and never just for fun.

People always skip, it's normal, i skip a lot too, the seniors this year say that next year I probably won't even show up for a semester lol.

Two girls tried to fake sick and skipped to go to a concert and almost got beat up by some gangsters in the process, we laughed so hard at them when they got back :)

^thats hilarious!

I had a perfect attendence until this year...now my attendence record is littered with cuts/traunts, excused absences..the works...I feel so proud even though I shouldn't. Woot class of 06'

Eh, I'm in full time dual enrollment, so most the professors don't care at all. I like most of my classes and usually go to all, but I did skip my pointless computer class a couple times last quarter;)
