have you guys ever thought that you did well but

scored lower than what you expected?

(opposite of that other thread)

I've had the opposite experience. grins

It was the Calculus AB exam's Free Response questions(You were supposed to interpret the meaning of a derivative of an integral in context), but I think I probably slam-dunked the multiple choice considering I finished about 30 minutes early with little doubt about my answers to the questions. Heck, during the remaining time, I determined the volume function for a tetrahedron using mostly geometry!(Though, NOW it's so much more straightforward just to use multiple-integration.)

I've had that happen to me with AP Chem; everything else I was able to predict for myself depending on how I felt before and after the test.

In school, we simulated, not one, but two practice APs for Chem and I got 5s. After taking the test, I came out feeling as good as, if not better, than I did for my practices. I got a 4.

Story of my life. That is why I am predicting a score of 2 for all my AP tests. I am fairly certain that I didn't make a two but if I do happen to get a two I'll be happy and anything above that I will be pleasantly surprised. If I happen to get a one then I will just have to shoot myself in the head for being an imbicile. Jk. ;)

el bumpo....

AP US history and physics. i was thinking 5 for sure

and you got...?

i was much more likely to think i'd gotten a lower score... maybe its just me, but i definitely tended to set low expectations.

ftc: 4 and 3

hopefully not this year...

Not as of this point. On my AP tests last year, I had the opposite situation. This year, however... I feel like I did really well on all but one of my five (Bio). I hate thinking that though, because whatever cruel, divine being there is out there is going to play that one, horrible joke, and I'll up end with like all two's.

And then you feel like a total idiot because you radiated your confidence to everyone else. =P
