I just took a practice exam for AP Calculus AB. It was a princeton review multiple choice test #1 (from 2006 book) and the 2004 released free response questions. I got a 29.5 raw score on multiple choice (25 correct x 1.2 and 2 wrong...skipped a whopping 18) and 26 on the FRQ. I found a chart:

72–108 ----5
56–71----4
39–55 ----3
25–38 ----2
0–24 ----1

This places me at a very, very low four. While some of you may not be too happy with that, you don't know my school. No one has gotten above a 3 on it in SEVEN years. (I go to a small town, under-served public school.) Should I take this as an initiative to try to get a 5? Is there any way that I can boost my score up to what may possible get me to a five before Wed.? We only spend 2 weeks on integrals (stupid block scheduling, teacher doesn't care), so I had to teach myself those. I would be thrilled if I got a four, ecstatic if I could manage a 5.

Do you think that the practice test I took is about the same level that the actual test will be?
