<p>Howdy. So I guess I was stupid while applying to UC's because I put down a wrong SSN. I contacted UCI and mailed them a copy of my correct SSN. Recently (twice) I called them and asked if everything is ok, and they said all of my information is correct now. I submitted my FAFSA on time but the problem was matching it up.</p>
<p>They told me that I should definitely hear back about my award soon, but I'm still concerned. Am I just being paranoid? Should I call them again? If so, when?</p>
<p>I'm submitting this here instead of the Fin Aid place since I know each school is different and maybe you guys could help me with UCI specifically. Thanks</p>
<p>I was in the same exact position as you. I incorrectly put my SSN wrong on all my college apps -__- I contacted all my schools and faxed them about the mistake as well. I was worried my financial aid didn’t go through. Luckily, it did. I say don’t worry about it. Wait one more week and then call them again if there still is no financial aid showing up. If your SSN is correct on both your FAFSA and at UCI then it will definitely go through, it’ll just be a matter of time.</p>
<p>Wow, this makes me feel so much better. It seems like NO ONE else I know did what I did haha. I seriously just wanted to punch myself in the arm for messing it up. Thank you so much, I will stop worrying so much about it for now.</p>
