Haven't heard from USC yet...HELP!

I dunno what’s going on! All my friends have heard but I haven’t. Does this mean I’m most likely rejected? My stats aren’t that bad…3.9 GPA, 1440 SAT, Good Essays, Decent Recs…What’s going on? I applied biochem, does the sciences department send out admissions later than the others or what?

Is anyone else in the same boat as me. Help!

all presdiential/trustees scholarship candidates are already notified and have done their interviews, the rest of the applicants are being reviewed and the decisions are continously mailed out as people are being accepted, you shouldn't worry b/c ppl still get decisions up til end march/early april. Biochem is one of the hardest majors to get a scholarship in as the competition is pretty tough and scholarships are handed out from each department.

why are you planning to take biochem? what courses are you taking in HS?

I wouldn't worry just yet. I was at USC last Thurs/Fri for the Presidential Scholars Interview. The Assistant Dean of the Viterbi School of Engineering said that engineering has not mailed letters to over 80% of applicants thus far.

FYI: There were about 3400 applicants to the Viterbi School of Engineering this year. An incoming class is around 450.

Good Luck!

Uhhh, I'm planning on taking biochem because I'm interested in the subject.

Thanks for the info blue and Jason....

I applied to Business and I haven't heard as well.

i did bac/med and i was there a few weeks ago I found out like early feb. nobody else at my school has heard.

I was accepted with biochem as my major March 1st..if that answers any questions...
