Yeah, it didn't work for me either, and I got in with the early February group. I tried both my SSN and my USC number and I tried it both with and without -, so that isn't true.

I can't get on it either.

You may not have heard of it...but go to your acceptance package and take out your "Welcome to USC" booklet. OASIS is mentioned on page 4 and 32.

It's not only for financial aid stuff...here's a list of things you are able to view once logged into it:

Registered Course List, Enrollment Verification, Grade Report, Degree Progress Summary Report, Degree Navigator, Financial Aid Summary, etc

EDIT: did the 2 people who replied before me apply for financial aid at all?

2 + 2, thanks for trying to figure this out for everyone that is still waiting. it was a good theory. my son hasn't heard anything yet and cannot log into oasis, so i'm hoping your theory is incorrect. he did not apply for fin. aid so i am curious to see if maybe that's why he can't log in (let's just say i'm hoping that's why!).

The site is giving me the "Invalid Password" message...and I was accepted in February...

No mail today from USC, got a thin envelope with my name and yelled "DAMNIT" out loud, but was just something from 100 club lol.

yeah, i can log in (i got in in feb.), but when i try to check financial aid stuff, it says that my record is not available...

damn

I havent received anything in the mail and I just tried logging in and......it worked! I was able to find out my USC 10-digit ID number. Does this mean that I'm accepted for sure?

for those of you accepted, what feature do you have on oasis, can you pay the deposit online?

YOu guys!!! The oasis is a certain password that is not your birthday or social security or anything. And I was able to login for oasis before and after acceptance. I don't think this is a valid theory. And also, the oasis site hasn't changed since i got my accpetance.

Adore88: I think you chose 2004-2005 when you went to the financial aid area. You want to choose 2005-2006.

Steaky: I'm able to log in by using my bday as my password...are you saying theres another way to log in?

Am I for sure in though? AHHH Just because I can log in, does this mean that I've been accepted?!

Adore88 you have to remember that this is just a theory.

2+2=5, i hope we're talking about the same oasis b/c i don't use my bday. i remember a long time ago that i tried to use my bday but i couldn't use it and they actually gave me a password w/ random letters and numbers through e-mail. B/c yea, i tried to use my bday adn it told me invalid.

I don't think this is a valid theory, and the people who cannot login should not give up hope.

The oasis I'm talking about is linked in the original post. I definitely agree that people who cannot log in should not give up hope.

It's a little late to avoid loss of hope. I havent had much for the past few weeks, let alone after reading this thread about OASIS, onto which I could not log on. Anyway. I have a feeling today is the big day for most, good luck.

how do you find out your usc id

OK, i just gotten into the oasis site. I was admitted. and the whole password thing i said earlier is a totally different thing. btw, where did you find this oasis site. like, how did you know about it? what's the use of this for us now? and ppl who cannot login, it's probably ok.

So does it mean my brother got in if it logs in to the site and says:

I was rejected, but I can log in. Perhaps it may be only for people who turned in FAFSA report and the financial report from collegeboard?

Yours,

Rejected - Wow what a horrible feeling, feeling like your not good enough, and that people who were accepted are better then you, I hope none of you feel the same emotions i'm feeling right now. To work for your entire life doing everything you could in you power; and still not good enough... How horrible.
