i don't have any news from usc yet, but i can log in to OASIS. To get to the site go to: USC.edu, select "Search" on the top of the page, and alpha "O". Hit OASIS, type in your 10 digit USC code and 6 digit birthrate (mmddyy) for psw.
please tell me if you accepted/rejected/waiting, and you ability to access OASIS.
I know that many people received acceptance letters last week. I dont know anybody who got a USC rejection letter already. Does it mean there is no hope? And future news can be only a bad news?

Congratulations, the buzz on the USC forum is that if you can log in then you should be receiving your acceptance letter soon. Some kids got into OASIS and received their letters just days later.

thank you for reply. there is not much info on my oasis just a list of submitted fin aid documents I dont have much hope really. where is USC forum?

and just to make sure: that is USC in California

No, I applied there too, so I'm in the same boat you are. The board for USC is

Thank you, Aeggie. so, you can get into OASIS?

Yes and no. Kind of. I tried to log-in using my birthdate, but it asked me to change my PIN (It didn't want me using my birthdate). So, I put in a new one and then, yeah, it let me in.

Did you have to change your PIN?

yes, i had to change it too. i don;t think that oasis is any indicating. that why it would be interesting to know if anyone who was rejected can access it as well.

Well, they were talking about two ways to find out if you were in on the board. One was a sign-in where you used your USC ID and your birthdate, and the other was ExploreUSC. I'm not sure whether OASIS is the sign-in they were talking about or not, but it sounds like it.

do you know the url for ExploreUSC?

http://www.usc.edu/admevents

yep, just tried - can't get in. you?

oasis is different - https://camel2.usc.edu/oasis/Login.aspx

Nope, it says the last name didn't match. But on the board, in that big topic, they were talking about the ID and BIRTH DATE not matching, so that may not be the right site. Check out this quote...

"I seriously check Explore twenty times a day. That red non-matching ID and birth date notification appears in my nightmares. Does anyone know what time of day they were able to access Explore? Has anyone been accepted and not been able to log in?" - ZBR

i see. confusing. i am moving to usc forum, so we all on the same page. see you there.
