I’m applying EA but I still haven’t gotten an email about interview information, and I’m worried that I checked off RD instead of EA on the first stage of my application. Is there a way I can change that, if that’s what happened? Is there anyone else who’s applying EA and still hasn’t gotten an email?
I haven’t gotten anything either. I doubt my area has an Georgetown alumni, maybe one or two that I don’t know. I live in a small town so theres a decent chance there is very few or even no alumni. If you are in a similar situation, then I wouldn’t worry about it yet.
If you are worried, I would contact the admissions office. At this point, the interview information for Early Action applicants has been sent out.
You can easily check which round you checked by going to your email that you got when you submitted the first part of the GTown app.
Just as an update, I posted the first reply and since then received interviewer info about a week ago.
I received information about the interview a half hour after I paid the application fee. Make sure you pay the fee, because they don’t want to waste their time interviewing a kid that’s not seriously interested and just started filling out the app. You also have to organize the interview yourself. Georgetown sent me the contact information of my interviewer, but it was up to me to email them and coordinate it.
Update: I’ve gotten the interview info, and I didn’t contact anybody about it. I guess that’s a lesson learned. It still does seem kind of late for the EA deadline, but I’m not worried anymore.
