I'm applying to UT Austin, and I haven't sent my app in yet because I want to rewrite an essay I'm not satisfied with. I plan to send it in by Monday, but because I'm an international student halfway around the world, it'll only arrive in Austin first week of January. Way too late for a rolling admissions school, I should have known better, yada yada yada, or still in with a shout (high SATs, good ECs/work experience, good A Levels)? Or are internationals assessed differently?

Okay I'm going to finish my app now - I know people are going to say "why are you on CC - go finish your app!". Just looking for a bit of reassurance on this front.

haha yea, colleges like international students! trust me on that lol and your A level grades should be good too..
what country are you coming 4rm?

Singapore. So while they may not necessarily love us, they'll be used to us, I think. Then again, considering the size of UTexas, maybe not. But either way I still think I stand a more than decent chance, once I pack the application off.

That's reassuring, thanks! I think my A Level grades are decent enough, for sure (AAAC and a Merit).
