I was looking into haverford college as my college choice and I was just wondering if there is a good amount of "normal" people there (played high school sports, partied on weekends, etc.). This may offend people, but I am sorry it is just that I want to enjoy my college experience. Perhaps somebody out there knows what I am trying to say.

I wouldn't classify Haverford as a party school, no. While it's not Swarthmore, neither is it Penn State and it's closer to the former than the latter. Per PR's 351 Best, "During the week, work pretty much dominates everything" and "Parties here are generally low-key and involve alcohol and other substances...."

Wait!! You NEED to talk with my best friend from high school. He is an awesome person, and complained about "the ford" to no end precisely for this reason. When I visited him I could not believe how much more fun I was having at Dartmouth. Dartmouth has pre-gaming, parties, many social events, 3-4 big frat parties that the whole campus goes to, swimming in the river, random craziness, etc. At Haverford was a 'big weekend' and all we did is drink with ten people in a dorm, most of which were not very 'normal'. And my friend was on the baseball team.

Also, this horrible PTA-mom, whiney, girl from out high school went there, and apparently she really found her niche. Sorry to be negative, its just funny how much this stereotype is true in my eyes.
