Haverford too hard? vs vassar or wesleyan

Hi all,
So my son thinks he has fallen in love with Haverford but he has a learning disability and I am worried it will be relentlessly hard for him. I know that he can do the workload but it sounds more intense to me than Wesleyan or Vassar ( I went to Wesleyan and my husband went to Vassar). I think he will be able tot keep up, but I worry that he will have time to do little else such as socialize, work in theater and film which he loves, exercise etc. Haverford sounds collaborative and noncompetitive (so friendly and not competitive like Swarthmore, but maybe just as hard) but still harder and more grindey than either of the other schools.
Thoughts?

I don’t think it will be too hard for him. It’s certainly rigorous but if he’s worried about the workload then he can start off taking less difficult courses.

It might be worthwhile talking to this office to see about the level of support and accommodations available.

They take a lot of care at Customs week picking classes. My DDs peer advisor tried to talk her out of taking 2 lab courses at once because of the workload. She and her academic advisor over-ruled him, but I thought it was very admirable that load was considered.
She’s doing fine BTW. After a 7 courseIB/AP load, she thinks it is very manageable. There also are peer tutors and lots of support.

Thanks.

Also – check into the self-scheduled exams. That can help with anxiety and pressure. BMC and Haverford have self-scheduled exams if I’m not mistaken
