My roommate is freaking out about having 5 Ws on her transcript. Whats the maximum Ws that you can get without it raising red flags? She is a biology major. She is planning on applying to med school after graduating. Is it going to hurt her chances of admission?</p>
<p>5 Ws are definitely going to raise red flags already for med school. I would say like 3 Ws is where it probably starts to get worrysome, unless they’re all from the same quarter (like just dropping an entire quarter because something happened). She definitely has to have a good reason for those Ws.</p>
<p>Though I’m told that it’s better to take the W’s than to get an F and repeat the class.</p>
