Having a really hard time editing my college list?

I made this color-coded spreadsheet with a bunch of categories of things I NEEDED to have at the college I'll eventually end up at, and I narrowed it down to 15 that I'd be really compatible with (and then I added an extra 3 safeties with no app fee, but I won't include them cause who really cares). So anyway,

UC Berkeley
Emory
Georgetown
George Washington
UC Irvine
UCLA
Marist
NYU
Northeastern
Penn State
UC Riverside
UCSD
UCSB
Syracuse U
Wake Forest

GPA: 3.56 UW, 4.04 W
UC GPA: 3.79
SAT: 570 math, 730 reading, 660 writing (after SAT prep this summer, will prob end up w/ ~1950-2000)
7 honors classes (out of 10), 7 APs (out of 10), w/ an interest in science, history, english, and the performing arts
Extracurriculars: Mock Trial (sophomore yr), Human Rights Board Member/Leader (junior/senior yrs), Confirmation Leader (junior/senior yrs), School Ambassador (freshman to senior yrs), CSF (freshman to senior yrs), Technology Assistance Team (senior yr--it's new)
I know my GPA seems really low, but on the bright side my counselor told me I'm near the top of my class! (Avg weighted for class is ~3.0)

I also really need to go to a college where I'll have ample research opportunities. I've looked into that, but I wasn't really able to find out how easy it is to get my hands on some research. Help?

I take it you are instate for CA? Why not UCSC? What kind of research?

So UC is one application. That’s 10 applications, not too bad.

3.0 W is top of the class? Where is this? But yes that is a very good position to be in. Are you first gen to go to college? URM?

But your M, drill on that, use Khan academy to supplement your other prep.

Any cost constraints?

Your home state? Your race?

Why do u need "ample research opportunities? "

If you want to be somewhere with ample research opportunities at UNDERGRADUATE LEVEL, you want to look at some liberal arts colleges where you’ll receive more personalised attention from professors (smaller class sizes, no graduate students etc) and be able to conduct 1 on 1 research over summer or serve as a research assistant. Have a look at colleges like Wesleyan, Swarthmore, Haverford as they’re all strong in the sciences.
