<p>I know about all the events going on around campus, but is there anywhere to look up fun stuff that goes on in Austin in general? Obviously I'm not referring to frat parties, but real fun.</p>
<p>I ask because my weekends are rather boring, and I'd love to attend some live concerts in the area or something else fun...and am only aware of ACL, since I'm new to Austin.</p>

Join Facebook groups of organizations. They will usually send updates when there is an event like if you join the film committee group, they invite you to movie events.
Austin 360 has stuff on their site about events. </p>
<p>Also, go to Emo’s, Antone’s, Stubb’s and The Parish websites (music venues) and look at their calenders. I personally dislike Stubb’s but I know a lot of people who do like it. The Parish and Antone’s are my favs. Frank Erwin center does music stuff too.</p>
