HC beat Lehigh today 3-0 to advance to the finals.

We’re 2 days away from the biggest baseball series in how many years (30?) at hc.
this program was ignored for too long and allowed to wallow in mediocrity for the better part of 3 decades. Now with an impressive new coach and arguably the best facility in the east, we have come back.

bucknell looks to be a team that’s peaking at the right time and will be dangerous despite their record of 23-32. despite having lost 3 of 4 games in their final 3 regular season series, they got hot at the plate and lit up some pretty good army pitching with 26 runs and 47 hits in the 3 games.

their 1st baseman shribman was the star with 4 homers and has 17 on the season.

That cool! My son played youth ball with a Bucknell freshman (Matt B - was a catcher back then) and high school & Legion ball with a HC freshman (Josh O - was a 1Basemen in HS). Keep us posted.

“The Patriot League moved closer to crowning a champion this weekend, and it wasn’t good news for the top two teams. Regular-season champion Army dropped its semifinal series to Bucknell, while second-seeded Lehigh fell to Holy Cross. As the highest remaining seed, Holy Cross will host next weekend’s championship series in Worcester, Mass. Could the Crusaders be on the way to following up their 1952 national championship?”
