HCI- Best Graduate Programs in the US and Job Prospects

<p>Hi All</p>

<p>I'm an Industrial Designer with 4 years of work experience. I'm planning to switch to Interaction design/ HCI and lookign for Graduate programs for the same in the US.</p>

<p>My research so far leads me to the following universities for HCI-</p>

<p>1) Carnegie Mellon University- MSHCI
2) Georgia Tech
3) Stanford
4) UC Berkeley
5) University of Washington</p>

<p>I'm just starting up with my reserach.. But I would love to have some inputs from you guys on the best college for HCI based on learning as well Job prospects afterwards..</p>

<p>If you are an international student, it is not likely that you will be able to find a permanent job in the US after completing your degree and any remaining OPT. You need to ask around in your own country about which US degrees will help you get a job when you return.</p>

<p>Why not? Hundreds, if not thousands, of international students find “permanent” jobs in the US after graduation/OPT every year.</p>
