Any one heading up for the Head of the Charles?

We are making a family outing of it -- NNEPA (Northern New England Parents Association) will be there to cheer on KP to victory.

Hope to meet some of you.

I am considering going but the novice crews from CGA will not be participating. The whole team is going up though but I have to decide whether or not to give my ds some "breathing space" as he's planning on visiting with friends who go to BC, Stonehill, etc. Fortunately I get to see him more than most parents as I'm just an hour from NL. Good luck to all the crews who do go up there. I'm sure Navy2010 will be there. It's quite a race from what I hear, three times as big at the HOC.

you bettcha - will be there, bells and all! Gotta cheer the rams to victory!

8kidsmom- don't forget that pic from the Elliot Bridge....(looking "down" at the boat as it passes)...makes for an incredible shot! Expect lots of crowds and restricted parking- (nearly all of boston comes out for this one, especially if the weather is half-decent!)...getting there early is a must, as are good walking shoes (you will need them!)...have a great time....don't forget to pick up a HOCR "official" tee....and definately don't forget the camera and the binoculars....the Charles is by far the best of the Fall races!
