First Regatta of the Season

Just got back from Worcester, MA, where CGA met up with Holy Cross, Wesleyan, and Mt. Holyoke(JM's alma mater...ha ha) this morning. Here are some pics.

<a href="http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bossf51/album?.dir=/aec9%5B/url%5D">http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bossf51/album?.dir=/aec9</a></p>

JM is obviously a Smithie

Noooo I'm not. What's a "Smithie" anyhow? You guys are forever trying to go over my wee little head and you know how easily its done dang it. Tell me what a Smithie is or you'll be sorry.

I just now had time to check out the photos Boss. I see a grill! YUM. My Coastie looks good as ever. What were his times? The weather looked nice for a change. BTW, I have my air on. It was 85 today. My eyes for just one Spring that last more than three days before it hits the very depths of a good old southen summer. Break out the lemon-aid!

A "Smithie" is a graduate of Smith College, one of the famed "Seven Sisters" colleges along with Mt. Holyoke, Bryn Mawr, etc. LF and I were just having some fun at your expense(what else is new?)

Steve's crew had the second best time of the day among all the CGA crews and fifth best overall among 26 boats in the race. Not bad for a bunch of 4/c's who never rowed before this year.

The weather was pretty good, 65 or so although it rained later in the day. Now we're back into the 50's for a few days...ugh.

I always heard it was Smith to wed, Holyoke to bed -- or was it the other way around?

I'm not goin there folks...
