Hey everyone,
I’m planning on majoring in HES at TCNJ this year. I was just wondering how good of a program this is, especially because I have aspiring dreams to become a physician. Any opinions would be appreciated!
Thank you!
Medicine is a very different thing from the science of health and exercise. Med schools have their required courses you need to take and do very well in (you can find the courses online), and other than that, you just need to graduate college (any major) with a high GPA, do well on the MCAT, pepper in some research and hospital/doctor shadowing, develop fantastic social skills, mature as a person, and really become clear about why you want to be a doctor. Your major is actually pretty unimportant compared to all of those other things.
