Health Insurance ? for current Bruins

<p>Current Bruins:</p>

<p>My D will most likely go to UCLA (she got in to CAL too). Want to find out from current students who are under their parent's health plan. Can you still avail the university health center for minor aches and pains or you have to go to your primary care. Basically I want to find out if you are not feeling well or your're sick, how does it work or what your experiences are. I am HMO member (BTW has to search for a primary care physician for my D (somewhere close to UCLA). I will be waiving the school health insurance.Any input is appreciated. Thanks</p>

<p>Briefly looking over it, I think you can still go to Ashe, but you just have to pay the co-pay.</p>

<p>Giving a call to the insurance company will help you locate a suitable facility. UCLA Medical Center may even be one.</p>
