Healthy Alternatives

How are the Healthy Alternatives floors? I will be a freshman next year and am afraid that if I do decide to participate in healthy alternatives i’ll be missing out? no? what are the pros? cons? thanks!

yeah, i'm curious too

what are healthy alternative floors?

uh, i know i'm gonna sound stupid but... does that mean you don't drink and stuff, or does that mean you eat healthily...?

well from the booklet it's for people who avoid alcohol and cigarettes and such

sorry to drag this back up, but i'm still curious about the OPs question...

what do you mean by "op's"?

OP = Original Poster

oOo i see.

hmm well about the original question. I personally will not be living on the healthy alternative floors. I think that it could be a great option for some people. If you know that you don't want to be around any substances and feel the need to have that secured than healthy alternative floors are a great option. You will be with people who feel the same way as you do. But than that creates the negative of being around everyone who feels the same way as you do, and you might feel as though you are missing out. College is about experiencing new things. I think that either way you'll have fun, but I don't think that anyone needs to be worried about being pressured into an uncomfortable situation.
