A typical breakfast for us: eggs (two for Mr, one for me), a generous cup of fresh berries or melon, rye bread or a TJ potato hash patty, some yogurt, and coffee with milk (always 2% for me, no more no less ).

My new workday breakfast is one egg cooked with lots of veggies and 2 small keto friendly tortillas to put my egg and veggies in so I can eat with hot sauce like a taco. I always have a large mug of tea with a splash of cream with breakfast. I don’t like sweets for breakfast so no berries for or melon for me.

I don’t recall anyone mentioning this upstream, but is anyone else experiencing a blueberry shortage?

One upscale market near me had them at like $12.99/container, but I ain’t paying that. The markets just don’t have them at all.

Wow. :flushed: Just got a carton at our local Costco… they had piles of both organic and “inorganic” to choose from!

Ha no… on a low fiber, pre-colonoscopy diet this week. Most fruit is not allowed. (Happily bananas are allowed.)

Maybe try frozen blueberries. I throw them right into my cereal/milk.

Which reminds me… my VERY favorite cereal (not allowed this week) is Fiber One Original. Around here most stores seem to not carry it OR be out of stock. A 2/3c serving has 18g fiber, only 90 calories, zero sugar. I eat it for breakfast 3 times a week, with milk and fruit (berries or bananas)…. sometime with some chopped walnuts too .

Plenty here priced normally.

FWIW, except when they are in season locally (July) I usually just buy frozen, rather than fresh. Same with raspberries.

I typically buy our blueberries at TJ’s and have definitely noticed a drop in supply over past couple of weeks.

Definitely having a hard time finding fresh blueberries( California)

H loves Fiber One Original, but I’ve not been able to find it anywhere. Local store had it and I bought three. They had four, didn’t want to buy 'em out

Bought blueberries at Costco yesterday. They are big and firm. Good flavor.

We usually buy at Costco unless they are in season here. Otherwise blueberries are pretty tasteless imo

I like my blueberries cooked better than raw so frozen is not a problem for me. I like the small wild ones best. However since my husband’s favorite fruit is blueberries and he does the Costco runs, I don’t have any idea what he’s paying for them!

Another Costco blueberry buyer. I need them to be be bigger and firm and they almost always are!

So many blueberry fans. I like them a lot. But I like raspberries and blackberries even better. In winter I often use frozen ones.

Has anybody tried this? Might try it (with sugar instead of Splenda)

Yea, I’ve made that mug dessert. It’s pretty good when you have a taste for chocolate. I use monkfruit sweetener.
