hear back from ucf summer 2012?

my son’s highschool sends the transcripts electronically. He had them sent on the 25th of August and they updated his status saying they were received within 2 days.

Hmm… was your son in state?

My son’s transcripts were also sent electronically to the Florida state schools from his Florida public high school. No issues with UCF receiving them.

about how long did it that take?

I believe that it took about a week for it to be listed on his MyUCF status page. We had a problem with it not showing up at UF for 3 weeks so we had to resend those (only to find one day later that UF posted BOTH transcripts received two days later)!

Haha UF is rather disorganized as well. So it’s been about a week and a half, how do I mail my stuff?

Yes Seiclan, same thing happened to my oldest son with UF. We mailed transcripts - they said they did not get them. We got the high school to send electronically - they did not update the status. Then a few weeks later (and while I was starting to have a breakdown) they updated the status with both transcripts received.

My oldest did not apply to UCF so I was shocked at how quickly they updated the status with transcripts and ACT scores for my 2nd son after we had so many problems with UF during the last go 'round.

My D transcript is there they said but it got there on the 20th so itstill says waiting in her status. SHe may look at towes too if she gets in for summer. HOpefully if you meet the criteria you get in- she has 25 act and 3.8 weighted gpa from PA

Should we expect another wave of decisions this Friday?

I’m wondering the same thing. Seemed like most of them came out last friday, around 6:00.

ok im overnighting my transcripts. what do I adress them too? theyre instructions are rather confusing

sifanatic, did your school let you send them yourself? my school won’t let me so i want to see if i can give them the envelope to do it

My school wants a dollar for hard copies. they give em out in sealed envelopes and we take them to be mailed however we prefer. Thr trick is they have to remain sealed or else they dont count.

Mattzobel- did they make it seem lke a 25 and 3.6 will get you in for summer?

Hey there! I applied to UCF on September 1st for Summer B 2012 !
I was just wondering if anyone has hear anything on their status.
I’m so anxious, hopefully I’ll be able to see you all this coming summer!

Good luck future Knights ! :*

Gailbeth- they didn’t really make it seem that way, but Im thinking that if you meet the criteria, there’s a good chance of being accepted…
They just said if you meet that criteria, your decision will be 2-4 weeks

I have a question if someone can help me. On my application status it says unofficial. Does that mean I’m missing a part of the application? Also I have a 4.14 and a 30 but I haven’t been accepted yet into fall so I was kind of worried when I saw people were already accepted so I’m just hoping to know if i have something incomplete thank you.

they told me that it takes 3-4 weeks for a decision once all materials are submitted My d transcript was logged in on 9/20 so they told me its too early to get the decision yet- rustrating I know but hopefully she will get in with a 25 act and 3.8 gpa forsummer

Heres an interesting fact. The collegeboard.com calendar says that UCF starts notifying students of admission on October 1st.

Which is tomorrow…(not to point out the obvious or anything lol)
